March 10 (Sat.)	5th Annual Cabin Fever Cure This year’s event will feature our annual chili cook-off and tradition favorites like turkey bowling, human dog sled racing and snow snake. And join us for our inaugural winter volleyball tournament! There will be a 50/50 raffle with proceeds to benefit the Waddington Rescue Squad and Fire Department. September 6 (Thu.)	Presentation and Book-Signing St. Mary’s Parish Hall. Author and historian Roger Fulton is on a 300 mile canoe trip to follow the paths taken by soldiers during the French and Indian War in the 1750’s. He is traveling from Albany to Lake Ontario by water and is stopping here in Waddington on his way down the St. Lawrence River. Dressed in 1750’s clothing, he will present a PowerPoint slide presentation which will cover the basics of the war from who was fighting and why, to the major battles, their armaments and their methods of travel and attack. At the end, he’ll tell you who won! (In case you can’t remember.) Roger will also be available to sign his 1000 Islands hiking, biking and canoeing/kayaking books, which will be available on site.
